RICHARD MEIER RETURNS TO ATLANTA WITH A NEW CULTURE PAVILLION
June 30, 2017
Pritzker-Prize-winning architect Richard Meier returns to Atlanta with a follow-up project to his High Museum. Meier has been tapped to design a masterplan for No. 2 Opus Place, a 74-story residential tower being designed by Perkins + Will. Meier & Partners will also design an all-new culture and retail pavilion adjacent to the tower dubbed No. 1 Opus Place.
“We’re optimistic about a return to Atlanta for Phase II of Opus Place, and the opportunity to contribute again to Midtown’s vibrancy around Peachtree Street after so many years and the successful completion of the High Museum of Art," says Associate Partner Reynolds Logan.
