“The topping out of 30 Hudson Yards, and completion of its steel crown, represents another important milestone as we approach the neighborhood’s March 2019 opening” - L. Jay Cross, President of Related Hudson Yards
30 Hudson Yards has officially topped out. The final beam was placed on the tower's crown on July 17th. The 1,296 ft. tall building is the tallest of the towers in the eastern rail yards and features a very notable and soon to be iconic view of the city.
The observation deck at 30 Hudson Yards will be the highest outdoor observation deck in the western hemisphere. Surrounded by a nine-foot-tall glass wall and a transparent windowed floor. The deck floor will also be home to a 10,000 square foot restaurant.
In addition to the breathtaking observation deck, 30 Hudson Yards will feature river-to-river panoramic views, outdoor terraces, a triple-height lobby, direct access to premier restaurants and retailers and a direct underground connection to the new No. 7 Subway station.
