504 condominiums, 184 hotel rooms and more than 150,000 square feet of commercial space - Oceanwide Real Estate Group took this project head on and plans to make major changes to the Downtown LA area. This Oceanwide project is being built simultaneously alongside 2 other multi-tower complexes - The Metropolis and 1020 South Figueroa. These are both large developments that feature hotels as well as for-sale housing. In April of 2018, an important milestone was marked when the topping off of Oceanwide Plaza finally became the tallest residential tower in Downtown LA.
Each building in this three-tower project will feature outstanding amenities, making it hard for anyone passing by to ignore the feeling of intrigue. The tallest building, standing at 677 feet above street level, will feature two pool decks for hotel guests and residents. The smaller twin buildings will feature a park-like deck with a basketball court, a jogging track and shady trees. Love to shop? We’ve got you covered. The project will also integrate an open-air retail galleria named, the Collection of Oceanwide Plaza which will include a multitude of shops and restaurants. With a bright LED screen stretching the length of Figueroa between 11th and 12th, this complex can’t be missed.
"As one of the largest mixed-use projects in the history of the city, Oceanwide Plaza is not only reshaping the city's skyline, it is also redefining urban living by curating an amenity-rich lifestyle. We believe more than ever that Oceanwide Plaza will be an epicenter for the energy transcending from various focal points within this great city, ensuring that visitors and locals alike arrive for one reason and stay for the rest." To get locals even more excited about the build out, the developer released a slew of clean, shiny renderings done courtesy of Visualhouse. These images really keep the population of downtown LA on their toes as they anxiously await the finish line of Oceanwide Plaza.
